Jurong Bird Park

Since Mummy and Daddy were both on leave, we made plans for an early start on Saturday and since we wanted to go somewhere I haven't been before, they decided on Jurong Bird Park. Here we are at the Entrance at 8.35am!!! It was amazing to have the whole bird park to ourselves.

Out of all the birds, I know the Parrot best and can even repeat their call on demand!

It was an interesting experience to get up and close and personal with the birds at the free ranging aviary as well as the Lorrie aviary. The birds there were so colourful that I could not take my eyes off them! Here we are at the entrance to the African Waterfall Aviary.

As the crowds came in, we rounded up our visit looking at the descendants of dinosaurs - the Ostrich and Emu.

I had a fun time pressing all the buttons at the Emu enclosure to hear what an Emu sounds like.

At the exit, we even had a lion dance to usher us out! What more could you ask for the weekend before Chinese New Year?!
