Our Anniversary Trip
We couldn't travel for our 1st wedding anniversary last year as I was heavily pregnant with Ethan so we thought we would make up for it this year by bringing Ethan along with us on his first trip abroad.
The Location
We were really undecided about this one and were considering either Bangkok or a beach resort like Cebu, Hua Hin or Krabi. After going through all the possible flight schedules and accommodation packages, we settled on Bangkok because the lure of a 4 day 3 night stay at Banyan Tree Club was too enticing to resist!
The Preparations
We started by taking photos of Ethan for his passport. Here are some of the "failed" attempts.

The Trip
Ethan was a really good boy during the flight with minimal complaints during take off and promptly falling asleep during descent and landing. The service when we arrived at Banyan Tree was really quite impressive right from the get-go with the limo transfer and check in at our room - to our delight they had a nice crib set up for Ethan together with a nice bag of Baby toiletries and even a sterilizer in our room (which we did not even request for)! Shang made sure they knew it was our anniversary so we had a nice bottle of champagne waiting in our room as well! Talk about living it up!
Here's Ethan and I at the club floor lounge.
The very next day, we were off to Safari World. Ethan really enjoyed himself here looking at all the animals.
After looking at all those animals, I suspect he wanted to become one himself so Ethan forced mummy to put on his Panda suit for him.(Thank you Aunty Pearl!) =)
Here are some photos of us indulging in one of our favourite pastimes - lazing around on the bed!
On our last day at Banyan Tree, we took a little walk down the road to this fabulous restaurant that serves up Royal Thai cuisine! Super yummy as you can see!
Here's a teary eyed Ethan with his baby elephant souvenier. Don't be sad sweetie, we'll come back soon...=)
